How CompeteHub makes money
CompeteHub is a multi-sided SaaS. Revenue comes from four complementary streams, all designed to grow with customer value rather than gate core fairness.
1 · Subscription tiers
Recurring Starter / Professional / Enterprise plans, billed monthly or annually. The primary, predictable revenue base.
2 · Registration revenue share
For competitions that charge participants, CompeteHub takes a small platform fee per paid registration (configurable, e.g. 2–4% + gateway cost) via Razorpay/Stripe.
3 · Add-ons & usage
Overage packs for registrations/storage, premium certificate templates, SMS/WhatsApp reminders, and an external plagiarism-provider connector.
4 · Enterprise & services
Custom domains, SSO, white-label, data-residency, onboarding and dedicated support sold as annual contracts.
Feature flags and usage limits in this build enforce plan boundaries in software; billing-provider charges are wired behind a clean payment abstraction (mock provider included for testing).
