About

Greetings from the Army Institute of Management, Kolkata! The Operations Club of AIM Kolkata, in association with Procam Logistics, proudly presents Sanchalan 2026 — a national summit on supply chain management built around a live, industry-grade case challenge. What began as a campus event has grown into a national stage where the country's sharpest management minds tackle a real-world logistics problem and propose solutions that go well beyond the textbook. This year's challenge — "Beyond Accuracy: When Warehousing Becomes Mission-Critical to Manufacturing" — drops you inside a high-stakes standoff between a warehouse solutions provider and its largest manufacturing client. On paper, every metric gleams: 99.6% inbound accuracy, 99.7% picking accuracy, zero lost-time injuries. Yet the client is furious — production lines are stalling, critical parts vanish at the worst possible moments, and a single bottleneck component recently halted a tightly sequenced assembly line. Your mission: diagnose why a "benchmark" warehouse is failing its customer, and redesign an operating model fit for a just-in-time world. Why you should compete: • Work on a live, industry-relevant supply chain problem — not a recycled case. • Get direct, face-to-face feedback from a distinguished panel of academia and industry experts. • Present at AIM Kolkata's New Town campus and compete for a ₹45,000 prize pool, an internship opportunity, and certificates of recognition. • Sharpen the exact operations, analytics and consulting skills that recruiters look for. Format: Teams of 2–4 members. Round 1 is an online solution-deck submission on the released case; shortlisted teams advance to an offline final presentation at AIMK (with an online option for outstation teams). Think you've got it? Prove it.
